Rentmigo is a corporate guarantor service. If you can afford your rent but do not have a UK-based guarantor, we step in and act as your guarantor so you can secure the tenancy.
Rentmigo is designed for tenants who can demonstrate they can afford their rent but do not have a traditional guarantor. This includes people new to the UK, self-employed workers, contractors, students without a UK-based guarantor, and anyone still building their UK credit history. We assess affordability based on your overall financial situation, not just your credit score.
The cost depends on your rent and individual circumstances. Most tenants pay less than one month’s rent. You can use the calculator on our website for an instant estimate, or start an application to see your exact price.
Most applications are reviewed within 24 hours, and many tenants receive a decision the same day. Once approved, your landlord is notified and you can move forward with your tenancy straight away.
You will need a valid photo ID such as a passport, driving licence, or national ID card. If you have a UK bank account, we can verify your income through open banking. If you are applying from overseas or do not yet have a UK account, we may ask for supporting documents such as bank statements, proof of employment, or a student enrolment letter. The application process will guide you through exactly what is required.
If a payment is missed, Rentmigo covers the rent to the landlord under the terms of the guarantee. We will also work directly with you to understand what happened and help you get back on track. The aim is always to support you in maintaining your tenancy.
A traditional guarantor is an individual who personally agrees to cover your rent if you cannot pay. Not everyone has someone in the UK who is willing or able to take on that responsibility. Rentmigo replaces this with a corporate guarantee, which many landlords prefer because it is professionally backed rather than dependent on an individual.
